PASSING THROUGH!

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Isiah 43:2

A lot is happening in this day and age, uncertainty and worries can cause us to miss focus as God's people. Yet, God’s word has already been tested in times like these by His saints throughout the ages. The saints of old were believers like us who trusted Him for their salvation and impossible situations. God will always bring us through storms and uncertainty in life, He will reveal His faithfulness in times of trouble.

In life, there will be many storms and resistance as we continue our victorious walk in God. For most of the storms, we will have to endure as a soldier of Christ. There are some storms and struggles that God will pilot us around. But most of the hardships in life, He will steer us through to get us to the other side.

Beloved we all have an assurance that the promises of God’s protection and His help are available for all who trust Him. What we observe happening in the world and our country today, has not caught God by surprise.

When the children of Israel walked through the Red Sea on dry land, the waters were parted for them, that same waters also submerged the enemies of the Lord. Exodus 14.

Daniel’s three comrades did not have any portion of their clothing burn when thrown into a fiery furnace. The furnace was heated seven times hotter by the command of the king. And yet the same flames that God brought them through, consumed those who cast them into the flames. Daniel 3.

All night long Daniel sat in a den facing hungry lions, as God was bringing him through a time of faith and hope. Then upon his deliverance, those same lions immediately destroyed Daniels accusers. Daniel 6.

It's an interesting parallel God uses in our times of hardship and despair. That which can be used against us, in the end, becomes the demise of our enemies and the way in which we obtain victory.

We can pray for God to help us secure our hope in Him. Thank Him always because He has promised to be with us in the circumstances of life.

Pastor Richard
